Family-run and close to nature

Our Waldner Hotels are family-run and located in beautiful surroundings on the Sonnenalpe Nassfeld and in Weißbriach, in the beautiful Gitschtal valley. Hospitality, Carinthian warmth, elan and team spirit are a priority.

We, Martin & Anneliese Waldner, get personally involved in all areas of our hotel. The 95 wonderful members of the Waldner team take care of our guests every day and ensure that they are always satisfied.

Sustainability

We always try to be in line with the times. We have our own farm where we take good care of our fields, farmland and woods. Every day we serve our guests products from local producers.

From our lovingly hand-made jam to the Gailtal mountain cheese, you’ll find everything in our generous buffet.

Together with our kitchen team, we look for local and honest producers who provide good food for our guests.

Apprentice training

Training our employees of tomorrow is very important to us. You can best acquire wide-ranging and in-depth knowledge of our industry by starting your professional career with a practical apprenticeship.

We offer ideal support for our apprentices and they are assigned a “buddy” for the duration of their apprenticeship.

Our “Kretzl” includes 95 motivated “Kraxler”. The “Kraxler” are our team members and we climb our way up to the top of the Waldner Hotels group together.
