Reception & reservations

The reception & reservations team are the heart of our hotel. They are the first point of contact for our guests and when they arrive they are warmly welcomed and receive numerous tips for their stay. They make every effort to meet our guests’ needs and are available to answer all their questions.

Building services

Our building services team is available for all technical matters and ensures that all technical and IT equipment functions properly in the background.

Service & kitchen

Our kitchen team spoils our guests with regional and international cuisine from the alpine and Adriatic area. They use quality products from regional producers and produce from our own farm. Our service team makes every effort to meet all our guests‘ needs and spoil them with a pleasant atmosphere, expert service, individual advice and high service quality.

Housekeeping

Our housekeeping employees ensure that the hotel is clean and implement all hygiene measures and guidelines. They keep our guests happy by cleaning their bedrooms every day.

Wellness

Adults and children can relax in our wellness areas or treat themselves to a relaxing or massage or cosmetics treatment.

Childcare

Our young guests are lovingly looked after by our childcare team. Our children’s programme offers fun, games and action all day long.

Apprentices in the Waldner hotels

Training our employees of tomorrow is very important to us. You can best acquire wide-ranging and in-depth knowledge of our industry by starting your professional career with a practical apprenticeship. We offer ideal support for our apprentices and they are assigned a “buddy” for the duration of their apprenticeship.

All-inclusive meals
Breakfast, lunch and dinner are available to our employees every day (also on their free days). Non-alcoholic drinks & coffee are available free of charge at all times.
Accommodation
We offer you free accommodation in a double room. The rooms have a shower, WC, television and free WLAN.
Recording of working time & remuneration
Working time is important to us and each hour worked is correctly compensated. Remuneration is line with the directive on collective agreements. As a bonus, all apprentices receive an increase in their remuneration from the 6th month of their apprenticeship.
Free work clothing
The way our employees look is important to us so, depending on the department, we provide some of your work clothes free of charge.

Working at weekends & bank holidays
Apprentices are entitled to have every second weekend free. If you work on a bank holiday you’ll be given a second free day outside of the main season.
Vocational school
You will attend the vocational school in Warmbad Villach for 10 weeks per apprentice year.
Holiday
You take your holiday outside of our opening times.
Birthdays
All employees receive a small birthday gift from the Waldner family. They also receive something at Christmas.
Final apprenticeship examination
The end of your apprenticeship is something to celebrate and you’ll receive a great gift from us.
